The practice of meditation has been transformational for me. Often, to begin with, meditation is a practice that many turn to for support with the challenges of life. I know I did. It being a huge support with navigating anxiety, the busy and sometimes scary mind and the incredible range of emotions that come with being human.
Meditation practice leans into a space of open compassionate awareness and being with what is arising. Slowly letting ourselves feel what we’re feeling. Gently, tenderly being present with the challenging and amazing play of life. It’s not always easy to take those steps which is why it’s great having support along the path.
Gently deepening with meditation opens to a cavernous heart that has the capacity to hold whatever we’re moving with. The grief, sadness, anger, frustration, fear, anxiety. Meditation opens to be more than a practice, it opens as the compassionate heart that feels what we’re feeling, the vast awareness that’s aware of experience and is naturally welcoming and loving. The vast heart of life that welcomes all the parts of itself home.
In this way meditation is what we are and resting here is to rest home, as life.

When to stop using the word meditate!
