Meditation & Mindfulness for Mental Fitness 6 Week Course

Who is it For?

This course is designed for you if you are new to meditation, or you want to re-connect with your understanding and practice, or perhaps you find yourself struggling a little and wanting to find ways to access calm and move a little easier with the challenges of daily life.

There’s an incredible need right now for learning skills to access calm, for validation and honouring of feelings and the life moving in us and for learning to move with the challenges that arise.

The Research

Scientific research shows that meditation and mindfulness are proven methods for enhancing well-being, improving sleep, reducing stress, pain and anxiety and for tuning in to our natural state of inner peace, calm and balance.

A SAHMRI 2021 report shows mindfulness based interventions and multi-component positive psychological interventions, both demonstrate the greatest efficacy in improving mental states of wellbeing.

What it Covers and Includes

In this secular course you’ll learn and experience:

  • What mindfulness and meditation are;
  • How to bring them into your everyday for reduced stress and anxiety and improved sleep;
  • How to move beyond reactionary patterns to instead respond with openness, calm and possibility;
  • The basic science behind its effectiveness;
  • Receive recordings and a practice book, integrating techniques in every-day life as you go.

The course will explore key areas of:

  • The Body
  • Thoughts
  • Feelings
  • Communication

Always integrating practices into your everyday.

Brief take home practices, longer practices, recordings and a mindfulness book are all included.

Our Approach

It’ll be an interactive, holistic and trauma sensitive approach to meditation and mindfulness to meet a diverse range of needs.

We’ll refer to the basic science and mostly explore your own practical experience as the ultimate guide and teacher.

Your Facilitator

It’s facilitated by Tim James.

Tim is a diploma qualified teacher of meditation and mindfulness and has been teaching for the past 6 years and exploring meditation and mindfulness for the past 18 years.

He mentors student meditation teachers all over the world, works with 1-1 clients and as well guides community and corporate groups to experience the joys of these ancient practices.

Exploring meditation and mindfulness is a wonderful step for so many and at times is not for everyone. I’m here to walk with you through your questions and am happy to refund your money if you find that after the first 2 weeks it is not for you.
